This life is fleeting, more than once this year I have been made painfully aware of time passing us by.
The ever growing pressure to “live the moment” pushing us on to achievements, filling all time, constantly going onward, always moving, doing experiencing, more adventures, on, on, on. Sometimes we need and should take the time to experience and to simply be. To be thankful.
There is so much to be thankful for, and yet in the moment I am simply grateful for the gift of aging. The priceless privilege of growing older.
“Berlin was charismatic in the roguish way of a love… It was a lover who was a little dangerous in ways that didn’t always show, keeping you a bit on edge, a bit in love and endlessly forgiving because he made her feel that she was exactly where she was meant to be… ”
– Whitney Otto, Eight Girls Taking Pictures.
On one of our evenings in Porto we decided to head out in the evening for pudding and a drink only to notice some fire. We headed towards the fire and stumbled on this amazing art instillation spread across the city. Here is a little clip just a small part of the experience.
Ooo! We’ve reached a milestone here at Elves About. This is our 100th blog. To celebrate here is something just for fun.
Here is a little film of the wonderful singing of the Natural History Museum lates team! Forgive the terrible camera work, I was laughing and trying to sing, multitasking…
Hope you enjoy!
